		<description>We had some TNI (Indonesia military) medical and medical service sorps officers with us this past summer aboard USNS MERCY, and they were gathering all the lessons they could to apply to the two hospital ships they are bringing online.  Given that they have some 7,000 inhabited islands, there plans were primarily domestic.

During Unified Assistance (Banda Aceh post-tsunami) the TNI were not real cooperative (from my worm&#039;s eye view).  Three years later one of my best friends during Pacific Partnership &#039;08 was the TNI environmental health officer.  Pleasant development.</description>
