I was searching for a copy of The History of the Peloponnesian War to purchase when I stumbled across a treasure trove of military history books available to view or download for free through Google Books. Some books (like those by Mahan and Thucydides) are classics, while others I had never heard of. Below are 37 books I found particularly interesting arranged loosely by war. Click on their underlined title to view / download via Google Books. I am sure there are more good military books available on Google Books, but after an hour of searching, I stopped looking.
